Education and Programs

YAYA STUDIO, EST. 1988

Founded in the independent studio of Jana Napoli, YAYA became a second home and arts incubator for dozens of Rabouin High School students through the 1990s. Today, the Studio is a teaching design studio dedicated to the personal, professional, and artistic development of creative youth.

YAYA SCHOLARS

YAYA Scholar Classes are shorter, fee based art making workshops for middle and high school students on dedicated to instruction in specific art forms including painting, ceramics, glass and mixed media. These courses take place throughout the year, and provide youth arts education at multiple levels of experience. Classes are out for the summer, but please check back in with us in the fall for a list of new classes.

URBAN HEROES

YAYA Guild members lead workshops in schools and community centers, “giving back” to their communities as artist-mentors and advocating for arts education. Bring Urban Heroes workshops to your school or community event! Contact Timeka Junius (timeka@yayainc.com) for more information.

CREATIVE GLASS

YAYA’s open access hot glass studio serves an expansive public demographic from YAYAs learning skills in a new medium, to professional artists renting the facility, to community members taking extracurricular art classes.
