Maya Howard

Maya began working as the Programs Coordinator at YAYA in October, 2023. Originally from New Jersey, Maya fell in love with the culture of New Orleans while attending Tulane University. She graduated in December, 2021 with a Bachelor’s of Communications and minors in Studio Art and English. As a student, she spent many Saturdays selling jewelry and artwork at art shows or working as a Studio Art and Museum Intern. She enjoys painting, drawing, collaging, and beading, and loves to utilize recycled materials within her pieces.
