Arianna Contreras (she/her) is a 16 year old Afro-Latina artist from Poinciana, Florida. She has been creating for as long as she can remember. She started taking more interest in it as she saw family members she looked up to doing art. She would watch her grandmother create hair bows and pins, occasionally being able to help with the hot glue gun or cut ribbon for her. She would observe her older cousin Anaya take her time on paintings. Growing up surrounded by this creativity, she too spent her time on her art. Through her mediums she hopes to bring her viewers interest and leave them wondering about every piece.

Arianna’s creates art based on how she feels or whatever crosses her mind, whatever she finds relevant. Her style mostly consists of earthy tones with contrasting bright colors. She finds herself taking interest in the odd or abnormal styles in art and she tries to incorporate them in her own.
