Jada (she/her/hers) is a black artist who goes by the name JA’Mari. She was born and raised in New Orleans. She is currently a senior at Science and Math High School. She works on multimedia projects, sculpting, and glass-blowing. When people view her work she wants them to experience joy. For many years she has been attending YAYA. YAYA is a youth art studio that provides educational experiences in the arts and entrepreneurship. Jada has achieved high accolades for her various grayscale paintings, such as her Asian and African Animal chairs, Josephine Baker and Hide painting. Her dream is to have a strong foundation for the future.
