morgan prevost

Apprentice, Level 2

Morgan Reneé Prevost is a black ceramicist and painter based in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her work often depicts black with an emphasis on their hair, and sculptures inspired by local wildlife. Morgan is currently attending Loyola University New Orleans pursuing Political Science and Studio Arts. She has been a YAYA since 2019 and has traveled with them to Tennessee, Baltimore, and has been taught animation by professors at the Rhode Island School of Design. She has assisted  and been mentored in the art of mural making by New Orleans Tricentennial artist Jamar Pierre. She can be contacted through YAYA or through email renee.prevostm@gmail.com.
